Proof 67 1875 Trade dollar sold for $25,000

The Heritage Auctions that were held from 7th to 10th July that took place along with the summer Florida United Numismatists convention fetched $6,583,780. A 1915-S Panama Pacific International Exposition round gold $50 commemorative coin graded Mint State 64 was sold for $88,125. A 1875 Trade dollar, Proof 67 from the Gardner Collection was sold for $25,000.48.The mintage of this trade dollar is just 218,200 coins and this specific coin had sky-blue and lilac toning, deeper at the edges. The same coin was sold for $28,200 in May 2015. The coin upgraded from Proof 66 to Proof 67 but its value did not increase with the increase in its grade.
